About Desert Enterprises
John Campbell, a native of Southern Arizona, began Desert Enterprises Body and Frame Shop in 1976 as a small Body and Paint Shop not far from its current location. Over the years, the shop continued to grow and move into better facilities within the neighborhood, until finding its current home on Fariview Avenue in 1991. Desert Enterprises Body and Frame Shop was the FIRST Collision Repair Facility in Southern Arizona to have a Laser-equipped Frame Rack, and is known in the community as being the experts in diagnosing and repairing difficult suspension and frame damage.
John married Jennifer Campbell, a Native Tucsonan and U of A Graduate, in 1991. Jennifer’s experience as an Insurance Claims Adjuster helped create the Personalized Insurance Claims Handling and friendly customer service that sets this small shop apart from its competitors.
Desert Enterprises Body and Frame Shop provides quality repairs and superior customer service due in part to their repair process philosophy. Your vehicle is repaired by a small team of professionals that collaborate and handle all aspects of the repairs from beginning to end. Larger shops and Dealerships, by contrast, are departmentalized, and your vehicle is handed-off from one department to the next, providing for opportunities for problems, delays, and difficulty following the chain-of-command when something goes wrong. Because Desert Enterprises Body and Frame Shop is a small, family owned and operated business, your vehicle is being repaired from start to finish by the same technicians who take great pride in their workmanship and customer service. You will be speaking to and dealing with the very people who are hands-on with your vehicle, so you will never get the run-around that you find at the larger shops.
Desert Enterprises Body and Frame Shop is proud to have been serving the Tucson community since 1976. Their business philosophy that has allowed them to prosper over the years is simple: Provide superior customer service and quality workmanship for a fair price, rely on satisfied customer referrals, stay informed on industry changes, and persevere by adapting to varying economical climates and trends.
In keeping with the philosophy of adapting and changing, Jennifer recently earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Northern Arizona University, and is currently pursuing her lifelong dream of being an elementary school teacher not far from the shop in the school that she attended as a child. John and his crew have taken over the customer service aspect that Jennifer handled previously. While Jennifer is still very involved in the operations of the family business, she just isn’t in the office on a daily basis.
John has nurtured this business over the years, and is the driving force that keeps it going and successful. He is a very hard-working, honest and respected small business owner that takes great pride in providing quality workmanship for a fair price. He believes in word-of-mouth advertising, and relies mostly on referrals from satisfied customers and business associates. When you meet John, you will see how his straight-forward, no-nonsense reputation has helped him be successful to this day.
